Join us for a pre-concert talk at 7 pm: "Jewish Life and Tango in Argentina” by Anita Epelbaum Weinstein: Sociologist specializing in the Argentine Jewish community; Argentine Jewish Federation (AMIA). Following, Orquesta Victoria will play new works from their album "La Media Cuadra Immortal" by composer Débora Simcovich, plus beloved tango classics. During a portion of the concert, world renowned tango dancers, Christy Coté (co-founder of Bay Area-based all-female tango company, Tango Con*Fusion) & Count Glover (MonTango Orchestra) and Nicholas Tapia & Stephanie Berg (2014 USA Tango Champions) will dance some tangos.

Please join us for a reception to kick off Orquesta Victoria's San Francisco Bay Area tour and to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the passing of tango icon Carlos Gardel with projected clips of his classic films. .  The AMIA  Auditorium, home of the Argentine Jewish Federation, in the Jewish neighborhood of Once in Buenos Aires.
